Payment

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are currently accepted via Google Checkout and PayPal. Google Checkout and PayPal are a fast, secure way to buy from stores across the web.

Pre-payment by money order is acceptable. If you send a personal check, we will hold it for 14 days before processing the order. Please send a money order instead of a personal check. All shipments must be paid in advance.

Shipping

Live Animals

All animal shipments are shipped Next Day Air directly to your door. Live arrival can only be guaranteed when the temperature in route is between 35-90 degrees. The buyer MUST be present on the first delivery attempt to sign for the package or live arrival will not be guaranteed.

In the rare event of a DOA (dead on arrival), you must report it within 24 hours and provide photos if possible. If the animal perishes within my guarantee, I will provide a replacement or store credit. I cannot refund or credit shipping. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges on the replacement of the animal(s).

The buyer is responsible for familiarizing yourself with and complying with any local, state, and federal wildlife laws. The buyer agrees not to hold TarantulaCages.com responsible for any harm that results from the buyer's purchase and keeping of tarantulas. The buyer should know the care requirements of the specific species being purchased prior to making an order. For information, visit an Internet site that specializes in information regarding the care of arachnids.

All items purchased through TarantulaCages.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items are passed to you upon delivery to the carrier. TarantulaCages.com cannot be held responsible for carrier mistakes or delays.

Cages

All cage shipments will be shipped Fed Ex ground with tracking numbers provided (Alaska, Hawaii & Canada orders are shipped USPS) from Seattle, WA. Need it fast? Next Day or Second Day Air are available for an additional charge (you must contact me for these options).

Return Policy

Live Animals

There are absolutely no returns on live animal orders.

Cages

Your satisfaction is very important to us! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase due to manufacturing or is not what you ordered, you may return it (you are responsible for shipping back and forth) for store credit, pending our discretion within 10 days.

If you ordered the wrong item, wrong size, or simply changed your mind, you may return your purchase for store credit, provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging in "as-new" condition. When your return is received, you will be issued a store credit for the merchandise only. (Please note that you will be responsible for return shipping costs) Also, please note that Custom Made Orders cannot be returned.

You may NOT return the item if it has been scratched, modified, or has had any substrate, animals or any other such things placed in it.

Defective or damaged merchandise must be reported immediately by sending an e-mail within 24 hours of delivery.

Products damaged in shipping must be reported to the carrier and a claim must be filed prior to replacement.
