In 2007, I started TarantulaCages.com simply because I wanted to house my own tarantulas in something that was meant for them. I was unsatisfied with the options on the market, so I constructed cages made of acrylic, with vents, lockable hasps, and hinges. I chose acrylic because it is very easy to work with, is more impact resistant and clearer than glass. It is also easier to see what's inside from any angle without framing to get in the view.

I received a lot of interest and praise from local enthusiasts, so why not bring it to the internet and allow others to have a great cage for their tarantulas?
