All live tarantula orders are shipped UPS Overnight delivery to your door for a flat rate of $38.00 for up to 10 tarantulas per shipment. Shipments are sent on Mondays to arrive Tuesdays. All packages are shipped in a styrofoam insulated box with heat pack when required.
Live delivery is guaranteed only if the package ships via overnight delivery, your local temperature is between 40 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit and someone is available to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt.
Due to their small sizes, all tarantulas are sold as unsexed, unless specified otherwise. Live tarantulas will not be shipped outside the United States. Tarantula orders are shipped seperately from cages.

Venezuelan Green Bottle Blue (Chromatopelma cyanopubescens)
This species of Tarantula grows to an adult size 4-4.5 inches. When adult they are very colorful with blue legs, green carapace and orange abdomen. Even spiderlings are colorful with their pink legs, black carapace and black abdomen with red stripes. As they mature into juveniles, their legs turn dark in color, the abdomen increases in red patterning and the carapace starts turning a reddish color. These are semi docile but can be a bit nervous, so caution should always be taken when cleaning or feeding. This species spins webbing all over the floor and sometimes halfway up the enclosure.

Brazilian Black Tarantula (Grammostola pulchra)
The Brazilian Black Tarantula has been called the "best pet tarantula" because it is very docile, impressive, and jet black in color. They are in the same genus as the Chilean Rose Tarantula (Grammostola rosea), but are slightly larger and more active than Chilean Rose Tarantulas. They are very popular tarantulas, and you may find yourself paying a high price for even a spiderling, but remember that it is worth it. Very fast, very cool looking spider that lives in trees. I love them! I think of them like an African baboon spider mixed with an Indian Ornamental. They are capable of jumping and disappearing, so keep those lids tight.

Bengal Spotted Ornamental (Poecilotheria miranda)
This arboreal species is from Northeastern India. They can grow to a 6-8" legspan when full grown. They are less agressive and skittish than most Poecilotheria and have light, wider bands marking the legs.

This Old World arboreal is very striking with its jet black coloration, dark legs and bright orange patterns. Adults reach about a 6" legspan. These are rapid climbers and can be defensive if provoked.

Usambara Baboon (Pterinochilus murinus)
The orange color morph of east-central Africa's starburst baboons. Naturally occurring in the Usambara mountains of Kenya and Tanzania, this species is known to come in a variety of colors, from orange to red and brown to golden. These are aggressive and quick to dart in and out of their silken retreats, but make very hardy and entertaining captives. Keep these dry and they will envelop their entire environment with silk.
